Berkeley has district races for City Council and at-large races for School Board.  This year, eight candidates are running for Mayor to replace the retiring Tom Bates.  In district 2, two candidates are challenging incumbent Darryl Moore while in district 6, two candidates are challenging incumbent Susan Wengraff.  Four candidates are vying for the empty seat in District 3 and two for the empty seat in District 5.  Meanwhile, three candidates, including the two incumbents, are running for two seats at the School Board.  All candidates were sent a questionnaire, and those that have returned it are listed in bold.
